Who we are
The Marketing Operator is a newsletter published by Osama Romoh. Questions about this policy or your data: osama@themarketingoperator.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe through a form on this site or on our newsletter pages.
- Email engagement data — whether an email was opened, which links were clicked, and general device and location information. This is collected by our newsletter platform on every send.
- Signup source — which page or campaign brought you here, so we know what's working.
- Standard server logs — IP address and browser information when you visit this site, kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To send you the newsletter, to understand which content is useful so we can publish better issues, and to measure where subscribers come from. That's it — we don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
Who processes it
The subscriber list lives with beehiiv, the platform that stores subscriptions and delivers the emails. They process your data on our behalf to operate the newsletter, including the engagement measurement described above.
Advertising
When we advertise the newsletter, ad platforms (such as Meta) may use cookies or pixels on our pages to measure which ads led to subscriptions. These tools report aggregate performance to us; the ad platform's own privacy policy governs what they collect.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe — every email has an unsubscribe link. One click, effective immediately.
- Access or delete your data — email osama@themarketingoperator.com and we'll handle it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the update appears on this page with a new date at the top.
